VMware Tanzu Application Service for VMs (TAS)

• How to generate heap dumps for .NET apps on TAS  - This article shows two methods to collect heap dumps on .NET apps running on Tanzu Application Service
• Rolling strategy deployment causes broken/unavailable app even though deployment was previously healthy  - This issue is caused by a bug in CAPI and is fixed in CAPI version 144.0.. Check the article for details.
• Prisma Cloud's Defender install script causes Diego Cell to be unhealthy - Prisma Cloud for Tanzu is a 3rd party tile and it is not officially supported by VMWare. The tile install a defender job inside Diego Cells.. Check the article for resolution details.

VMware Tanzu Operations Manager (Ops Man)

• Bosh failing to start due to duplicate bosh entries in UAA Database - Root cause is still under investigation. Symptoms and Workaround is included in this KB article.

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated (TKGI)

• When running on containerd pod in unprivileged mode bind port 80 permission denied (90857) - Due to the migration from DockerD and ContainerD, some security features are handled in different ways. Check the solution in this KB article.
• Healthwatch 2.2.1 TSDB VM'S in failing state (90823) - Prometheus Scrap_config file is corrupted  due to incorrect syntax and configuration. It is a Known issue for the Healthwatch Version 2.2.1. Check KB for resolution details.
• Orphaned Pod messages in log files - Cause and related errors and resolution is described in this article.

MySQL for VMware Tanzu (MySQL)

• ibtmp1 taking up MySQL disk space for Tanzu Application Service - This can cause the persistent disk to fill up, causing MySQL to fail. Check the article for resolution.
