Upgrade Planner shows only Java Buildpack versions with 3 digits - Upgrade Planner team is working on making Upgrade Planner read 3 digits versions and Java Buildpack team has been notified so they release versions with 3 digits. Check the workaround in this article.
VMware Tanzu Application Services for VM (TAS)
TAS VMs running AntiVirus impacted by Unix.Malware.Kaiji-10003916-0 - On June 7, 07:24:15, ClamAV added a new Detection Signature Unix.Malware.Kaiji-10003916-0 to its list. This was reported to cause many false positives and was subsequently removed at 23:46:10 UTC 2023. This KB article has important information regarding the problem and its resolution.
How to run a smoke-test errand manually on TAS and Isolation Segment - The smoke-test is a set of commands that setup and deploy an app, org and space on the environment, get app logs and stats to ensure basic functionality of the platform is working as expected. Sometimes the smoke-test fails and it can be useful to run the steps manually to find the point of failure.
Upgrade to TAS 2.13 fails on smoke tests - Advised scaling up log cache VMs. A change in the loggregator architecture, namely a new dependency on log cache VMs, manifested in failed smoke test.
Apps Manager UI: Scale app feature APPLY CHANGES button cannot be clicked in TAS 2.13.20 and 2.13.21 - With the release of TAS 3.X there has been a change in how the product handles the app log rate limitations. After upgrading VMware Tanzu Application Service to 2.13.20 or 2.13.21, when trying to scale an app with Apps Manager UI, the APPLY CHANGES button is grayed out and cannot be clicked.
Upgrade Planner fails on Scheduler with error "Target versions you've selected have dependencies that are not met" - The workaround for this is to add Java Buildpack pack in "Manually Add Tiles" section and select a version that meets the dependency in both Current and Target version. Example 4.49.1. This will bypass the lock and allow you to generate a plan.
Spring Cloud Services for Tanzu (SCS)
BBR backups of SCS mirror-service failing with mysql error - This error results from a breaking change in mysql, starting with version 5.7.31. Check the article for resolution.
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
CSI: Correct sync between CSI pod secret and workload_storage_management user password (87375) - TKGS Guest Clusters or Supervisor Clusters fail to create or attach PersistentVolumes or PersistentVolumeClaims to new nodes or pods. VMware engineering teams are currently working to RCA this issue. If you run into this issue, please open a case with VMware support and include a Workload Management Log bundle.
VMware Tanzu Application Platform (TAP)
unexpected error: parsing time "unable" as "2006-01-02T15:04:05.999999999Z07:00": cannot parse "unable" as "2006" - The error is caused by the incompatibility between TAP version and Tanzu apps CLI plugin version. To fix the issue, it's necessary to update the Tanzu CLI and the plugins.

End users and automation pipelines will fail to login to Tanzu Network and Tanzu Network Registry during the change window. Example Operations that will fail: Perform pull/push/copy artifacts, download products, new user registration, etc.
