VMware Tanzu Application Service for VMs (TAS)

• Troubleshooting failing prometheus job when applying change to Healthwatch Tile - You are upgrading Healthwatch tile or apply changes on the Healthwatch tile and this fails with a generic error. This KB helps with troubleshooting.

VMware Tanzu SQL (MYSQL for VMs)

• Percona-XtraDB-Cluster prohibits use of DML command on a table - In VMware Tanzu™ SQL with MySQL for VMs, the value of pxc-strict-mode is set as MASTER by default, when no primary key assigned for a table causing error. Check the KB article.
• Manual Mysql backup fails with too many open files - Failure during  manually backup of MySQL service instance and resolution.

VMware Gemfire

• MessageTooLongException/ MessageTooLargeException - GemFire fails to send messages due to MessageTooLargeException . Check Symptoms and resolution.
• GemFire: How to avoid pitfalls of split brain: Do NOT use less than 3 Cache Servers!! - GemFire Distributed systems using 2 Locators with 2 Cache Servers are not recommended. This is especially true when the locators are on the same hosts, or vulnerable to the same potential infrastructure issues that could negatively impact the Cache Servers.

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)

• kubectl vsphere login fails with "Failed to get available workloads: bad gateway" - When trying to connect to Supervisor clusters as Active Directory User, kubectl login fails.

Xenial Stemcell

Issue: The xenial aws light 621.304 stemcell will not install as it is missing its backing ami

Resolution: 621.305 stemcell fixes the issue
