VMware Tanzu Application Services for VMs (TAS)

• NCP fails to stage container with external networker up error - This KB article will be discussing the mechanics behind the TAS and NSX-T integration when a network interface is not assigned to the application container.
• Disabling or renaming default Java offline buildpack makes Healthwatch CF CLI tests to fail - Renaming or disabling the default buildpack (java_buildpack_offline) with a different name will cause it to start receiving alerts from Healthwatch where Healthwatch TAS CLI tests are failing.
• Application Security Groups (ASG) and Distributed Firewall Rules (DFW) Integration - This KB covers how Distributed Firewall Rules (DFW) are realized in NSX-T Firewall service when configuring Application Security Groups (ASG) in TAS.
• Redeploying product fails with "no such file or directory" at "Creating and uploading releases" - This happens when running the BOSH deploy command from a VM that is not Ops Manager.

VMware Tanzu MySQL for K8s (MySQL for K8s)

• Tanzu MySQL for Kubernetes connection issue - When you try to connect the MySQL instance from the client on other servers, the login fails.  Check the article for workaround and resolution

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKGS)

• PODs stuck in ContainerCreating state on TKGS Guest Clusters after vSphere HA Failover event (88609)  -  In vSphere 7.0 U3, after an HA failover or reboot of a TKGS Worker Node, pods will show stuck in ContainerCreating state, Check workaround and resolution details in this article.

VMware Tanzu Operations Manager 3.0 Now Generally Available - VMware Tanzu Operations Manager is a software appliance designed for platform operators to use BOSH, the infrastructure-as-code automation powerhouse, a much more pleasant and straightforward experience. BOSH can provision and deploy software over hundreds of virtual machines, and it also performs monitoring, failure recovery, and software updates with zero-to-minimal downtime

Application Service Adapter for TAP 1.0 Release Date: 2022-11-10   Release Notes

The Application Service Adapter for VMware Tanzu Application Platform, based on the open source project Cloud Foundry Korifi, aims to bridge the developer experience gap between Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes by enabling a Cloud Foundry compatibility layer on top of Kubernetes.
