Knowledge Base ArticlesTanzu Application Service (TAS)- Healthwatch tile for Tanzu

• If prometheus scrape_interval is set to 1m, some metrics (e.g.SyslogAgent_LossRate_1M) will not return data in Grafana UI - In the Prometheus pane of a Healthwatch for VMware Tanzu tile, scrape_interval specifies the frequency at which you want the Prometheus instance to scrape Prometheus exposition endpoints for metrics and its default value is 15s. Some users may increase this default value which leads to the failure of retrieval of data on Grafana UI. Read the article for complete details

Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)

• Disable accelerated networking on the Tanzu Kubernetes grid management clusters and workload clusters on Azure (87629) - TKG 1.3.0 cluster could not scale due to accelerated networking being enabled on Azure VM's of the cluster. Check the workaround in this article.

Product Announcement

Tanzu Network Users - Be aware of this important upcoming EULA changes

All Products to move to VMware General terms on the next new release (MAJOR OR MINOR).

To cause the least amount disruption to current customer workflows, the NEW EULA will be named VMware General Terms with doc slug vmware_general_terms .We will keep the old universal EULA as it is with the name VMware software EULA with the old doc slug vmware_eula. Existing releases which have been published will still be tied to the old Universal EULA.

Customers:

• Customers will have to accept the VMware General Terms when consuming new major releases with VMware General Terms attached (expected behavior)
• Customers will have to re-accept, now the VMware General Terms, when existing releases are changed to attach to VMware General Terms

API/Pivnet CLI Impact: Customers

• When consuming a new release or an old release with the new VMware General Terms attached, customers can expect to see EULA missing errors. They will have to login and manually accept the EULA through UI and re-try their automation.
